Christina Di Bona has spent more than a decade within both the Art & Interior Design Industries, having first been approached to exhibit at just 14 years of age. Winning her first Art Prize at only 16, and able to effortlessly cross into the Interior Design world with ease, it no surprise that Christina Di Bona is one of the most versatile and collectible Contemporary Australian Artists.
Raised around her Great-Grandfather producing oil paintings, and her father as an Interior Designer, it's little wonder that at just 16 she spent time at Australia’s prestigious “The National Art School” , under the guidance of renowned Australian Artist David Fairbairn.It was her artwork within this experience, that enabled Christina to be placed in the top percentile of her year for HSC Visual Arts, gaining a spot on the HSC Distinguished Achievers List, for not just one, but several subjects.
At only 18, her work was selected for exhibition at Port Macquarie Regional Glasshouse Gallery, and she consequently starting fulfilling demand for her artworks in International Collections and Exhibitions, specialising in Contemporary Abstraction and Portraiture pieces.
Having graduated from UNSW COFA, Christina is becoming renowned for capturing her subject's innate likeness within her portraits, as well as being able to create exciting and dynamic pieces for interior spaces. With a strong passion for Visual Arts Education, Christina has also received a Degree in Art Education, demonstrating her versatility not only as an Artist but also a Visual Arts Educator.
Christina has extensive Art & Design Industry experience, catering for a wide range of private clientele to collaborating and exhibiting in conjunction with globally recognised companies including Toyota and Google. Her works are also held in Private, Public & Government Collections, such as Sydney's Westmead Hospital.
From Exhibiting Internationally, fulfilling lucrative Private Commissions, her pieces being held in Private Collections worldwide, and an International Instagram following over 50,000 followers, it's no wonder that Christina Di Bona is becoming one of the Art Industry's most recognizable and collectible Australian Contemporary Artists.
